Island View Casino opened it's first phase September 18th, 2006 in Gulfport,
Mississippi on 40 acres along the Gulf of Mexico waterfront. Island View is a
privately held casino owned by Terry Green and Rick Carter, who were the previous
owners of the Copa Casino before Hurricane Katrina.
Phase I includes 30,000 square feet of gaming with 1033 slots, 15 table games and
a 562 room hotel. Phase II is anticipated to open in 2007. Increasing the facility
square footage to 520,00 sq ft, with gaming square footage at 80,000. Increasing
slots to 2,100 and 46 table games.
